What is the minimum order?
Every garment has its own minimum, shown next to its code and name (for example "min 50 pcs"). The printing method can have a minimum too: silk screen printing starts at the number shown in the list of methods. Below the minimum the order button tells you, and you can choose another garment or method.
What is the code in front of each garment?
It is our product code (SKU). Names can change when a page is translated; the code never does. Use it when you talk to us about a garment.
How do I choose the fabric and colour?
Pick the fabric first - every fabric has its own colours - then click a colour. The name and code of the colour are shown above the colours.
Designing your shirt
How do I put words or a picture on the shirt?
Click "+ Add text" or "+ Add picture". Drag it on the shirt to move it. Click it to change its words, font, colour, size or turn. Front, back and sleeves can each have as many texts and pictures as you like.
Which pictures can I use?
PNG, JPG, GIF or WEBP up to 10 MB. Use the biggest, sharpest file you have: it is printed at 300 dpi, so a 20 cm wide print needs a picture about 2400 pixels wide to look sharp. The picture editor can remove a background and crop or turn the picture.
How big can a print be?
Each printing area has a largest width, shown under "Width (cm)". Untick "Keep prints inside the printing area" to print wider or past the edge of the area - up to the width of our printing film.
Why does my print look small on the shirt?
Every mockup here shows a garment laid flat, with nobody inside it. Laid flat, a shirt measures about a third wider than the part you see from the front when it is worn, because the rest wraps around the body. So a print may look smaller here than it will on a person. We show the whole garment laid flat because we can also print on the sections that wrap under the arms and across seams, which would be hidden in a view of the shirt being worn.
What are the standard printing widths?
- 20 cm - Asian / women standard on the front
- 22 cm - the most common Western / unisex front print
- 28 cm - large, and the standard width on the back
- 45 cm - full print (part of it goes under the arms)
Under "Width (cm)" in the designer, one click sets your print to one of them.
How thin can lines and letters be?
In DTF printing, lines of 1 or 2 mm are too thin: the print normally breaks. From 3 mm a line prints well - so make thin lines and small letters at least 3 mm wide, at the real printed size.
Prices and printing
How is the price worked out?
Shirt price + printing price, for each shirt. Everything on one area (for example the front) is printed as one piece, so the box around it decides the print size and its price. The more shirts, the lower the price each - the price list shows the steps.
Which printing method should I choose?
DTF (Direct To Film) prints any number of colours and photos, from one shirt. Silk screen printing is priced per colour with a one-time screen setup, so it is best for larger orders of designs with few colours. Methods that are not possible for your number of shirts are greyed out.
Can I pay in another currency?
Prices are in Indonesian rupiah. The price list shows them in AUD, USD and SGD too, at the latest rate. From any currency you can pay with Wise or Revolut straight to our bank account in Indonesia - you send your own money and they change it to rupiah. Bank transfer in Indonesia works too. Paying by PayPal adds 8%.
Saving and ordering
How do I save my design and come back to it?
Click "Save design". You get a link to it - keep it or send it to someone. "My designs" (in the Design menu) shows every design you saved, with a picture of each - on this device, and on every device once you are logged in - and you can delete the ones you do not need. A saved design never changes: change it and save, and it becomes a new design with its own link, so an order always prints the design that was ordered. Designs are kept for 30 days, and for as long as needed once ordered.
How do I order?
Type how many of each size you want, choose how you get your shirts (pick up in Sanur, Gojek or Grab in Bali, a courier in Indonesia, or abroad from 100 shirts), fill in your name and WhatsApp number and click "Send the order". You get your client number, your design goes into your folder, and your bill opens - with the message to send us on WhatsApp. We reply to confirm the order and the payment.
Why don't you send my order with Gojek, Grab or a courier?
In Bali and Indonesia you book your own delivery and the driver picks your shirts up at our factory in Sanur. We don't want to be the middle man: if you are not there when the driver comes, the driver calls us, we have to find you, and your parcel waits. Booked by you, the driver talks to you, you follow it in your own app, and you choose the time and the price.
Labels, own patterns and printing sizes
Can I have my own label on my garments?
Yes. Your own tag or label in the back of the neck makes your brand or company look more professional - and it can go on the bottom of the shirt or on a sleeve too. There are three ways:
- Silk screen printed label - printed straight on the shirt
- Printed silk label - sewn in
- Woven label - sewn in, the classic one
What is a silk screen printed label?
The modern way of labelling a shirt: no itchy label next to your skin, and you choose the size and style freely. We can usually fit two sizes on each small screen, so six sizes (XS to XXL) need three screens. Washing instructions can go on it too. It is the fastest way to have your own label, and you pay for the printing size - a small one is enough.
What does a printed silk label cost?
Printed silk labels look like woven labels but are a different quality. 500,000 IDR buys 100 metres; how many labels that is depends on the size of each label.
What does a woven label cost, and how long does it take?
The minimum is 6,000 labels, around 2,000,000 IDR depending on size, colours and design - the cost estimate is free. After the deposit, production starts and in about a week you get a photo of the sample label. Woven labels are made by a specialised manufacturer and can take up to a month in all.
Can you make a shirt from my own pattern?
Yes. We make the shirts from start to finish, so we can make your own shirt or singlet from your pattern, or copy a shirt you have. If you cannot give us the shirt or pattern, fill in our order form with the measurements of each size (if you do not want a perfect gradation). The price is 1,000,000 IDR.
What are the standard printing sizes on a t-shirt?
- 20 cm - Asian / women standard: the widest on the front before it goes under the arms on smaller people
- 22 cm - the most common Western / unisex front print
- 28 cm - large: for bigger people, and the standard width on the back
- 45 cm - full print: part of it goes under the arms
Our mockups show the shirt flat, with nobody in it, so a print looks smaller there than when it is worn.
Where on the shirt can you print?
Almost anywhere: we print the parts before we sew them together. Front body, back body (also for a printed label), and the left and right arm - the perfect place for a small website or sponsors.
No question has those words.
