About our factory

We are The Pirate Way Bali. We cut and sew our own garments and print them in our own factory, so everything - fabric, fit and print - is made under one roof.

What that means for you

  • Any garment in any of our fabric colours, in the sizes you need
  • Prints almost anywhere on the garment, even across a seam
  • Small and big orders, and reorders of the same design any time

Cutting

Every garment starts as a pattern. We draw the cutting lines on the fabric and cut each part by hand - and a new style's pattern is tried and perfected before it goes into production.

Sewing

Our tailors sew every shirt, polo and singlet in the factory - so we can make your own style, your own sizes, and print the parts before they are sewn together.

Making the screens

For silk screen printing, your artwork is printed on film - one film per colour - and burned onto a screen in the light box.

Printing

At the printing tables each colour is printed by hand, one after the other - and every print is heat pressed, so the ink sets and lasts wash after wash.

Checking and packing

Before anything leaves the factory it is checked, ironed and labelled with its code - so you get exactly what you ordered, and a reorder is the same.
