Laid flat, a shirt measures about a third wider than the part you see from the front when it is worn, because the rest wraps around the body. So a print may look smaller here than it will on a person. We show the whole garment laid flat because we can also print on the sections that wrap under the arms and across seams, which would be hidden in a view of the shirt being worn.
